The E-Sourcing module of Acquirell enables the companies to attain more savings on purchased volume by conducting various forms of sourcing events.


Acquirell helps to eliminate the following issues that SMBs face in their day-to-day operations:

*Making errors while managing the procurement processes manually with such tools as Word, Excel, Email, paper sheets, etc.

*Inability to process purchasing requests from various departments and employees due to growing purchasing volume.

*Waste of time that stems from the manual execution of all procurement and sourcing activities.

*Miscommunication issues both internally, within a company, and externally with the suppliers caused by inconvenient utilization of multiple communication channels.

Acquirell includes the key following modules:

REQUISITIONING - Collect and process purchase requests across all departments and employees. Employees may simply submit their request at the touch of a button. Design approval routes of any complexity to review the requests.

PO PROCESSING - Create POs and send them to suppliers in a single system.

CONTRACT LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT - minimize errors and reduce time spent by automating all stages of working with contracts: from initiating to archiving. Ensure compliance.

E-SOURCING - purchase the key strategic items at the best possible prices through running various forms of sourcing events: from RFQs sent to all suppliers to Auctions.

SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT - record all interactions with suppliers and develop SRM strategy in one system. Accredit suppliers and create a preferred supplier list.

1. We run RFPs via Acquirell eSourcing Module
2. We consolidate all critical tools like POs, Contracts, Supplier Database, and eSourcing in a single system
3. We can initiate a contract just after finalizing RFP event
4. We can conduct supplier prequalification before running sourcing activities

Mainly, Acquirell enables us to automate the main processes in our procurement activities: PO and Contract Management, RFPs, etc.
  • Robust sourcing module with very flexible configurations is a great tool for running RFPs
  • We can easily send POs to the suppliers via Acquirell
  • The great Contract Management module lets us administrate the contracts easily
  • We can easily handle the supplier database
  • Requisitioning is not convenient. It seems a bit complicated.
  • There is no invoicing. It is necessary to attach separate files. I hope that Acquirell team will develop invoicing capabilities, so we will not have to attach separate files.
  • The tool is mostly designed for procuring physical items than services. We had to play with the evaluation criteria to tailor Acquirell to our processes. We are procuring services more than physical products.
Acquirell is well-suited when it comes to running RFP events. The flexible configurations and broad functionality of the Acquirell eSourcing module allow us to run RFPs with ease. It is much more convenient to run RFPs in Acquirell than collecting the bids via email and analyzing them manually.

Acquirell is less appropriate when it comes to collecting the requisitions. There are confusing terms "requirements" and "requisitions." And it is a bit complicated to configure these "requirements."

  • The number of errors has been reduced due to elimination of manual workflow
  • Now we do not have to keep a lot of Word, Excel, or PDF files since most of the procurement data is stored in Acquirell. Therefore the data does not get lost
I haven't evaluated any other procurement solutions. Before implementing Acquirell we were using emails, Word, and Excel in our procurement processes. Overall, it is much more convenient to conduct procurement activities in Acquirell rather than to collect the bids via email and keep a bunch of Word or Excel files.
