Overall Satisfaction with Acquirell

Now we can easily handle PO processing and running RFI, RFQ, and RFP events with Acquirell. Also, we keep and manage our requisitions in a single system just by adding line items (or requirements as it is called in Acquirell) to the requisitions. However, we decided not to use their Contract Management module.
It is very easy to communicate within a team and with vendors regarding our purchases through Acquirell
The tool enables us to manage almost all procurement processes and move them from Excel, Word, Email, etc.
It is easy to review the quotes through Acquirell instead of collecting bids via Email

  • A robust Sourcing Module where we run our RFI, RFQ, and RFP events
  • Requisitioning module that allows keeping requisitions in electronic form instead of sending emails that are always being lost
  • Communication that is recorded in the system
  • Approval Routes features that let us handle our complex approval flow
  • Cannot edit the text of the contracts in the Contract Management module just like we were editing it in MS Word
  • Accounts Payable is out of scope
  • The Supplier Management module is "just okay". Acquirell team should develop features

It is most appropriate to utilize Acquirell for processing the purchase orders with vendors. If you don't want to onboard the vendors into the system you may easily generate the POs in PDF.
Acquirell includes amazing capabilities for running RFI, RFQ, and RFP events.
It is very easy to manage purchase requisitions in a single system.
Also, the tool is a good fit to manage the complex approval workflow.

It is less appropriate to utilize Acquirell for managing contracts because instead of simply editing the text of the contract you should play with the configurations of the contract in the system and fill out various fields

Using Acquirell

12 - Some of them are the members of our procurement team (other buyer and our assistants). They are directly involved into PO processing and conducting RFI, RFQ, and RFP events.
Some of them are the leads of other teams that are submitting their purchase requisitions
Some of them are the managers that review and approve (or disapprove) the purchases
Acquirell is a SaaS solution, so the system is maintained by the Acquirell team. Therefore there is no need to hire programmers or anyone else to operate and maintain the system. If I understand the question right.

Acquirell team has conducted the Zoom sessions with us to explain and clarify all the details.
Their manager Olivia and their product manager Dimitri were really approachable
If there arise any issues related to working in the system the Acquirell team is always trying to respond ASAP

There was a situation related to PO creation. I've got an issue while attaching the line items (requirements) to the PO. Then I submitted a support request and the Acquirell team resolved the issue within 2-3 hours. Besides just resolving an issue, Olivia (the Acquirell manager) has conducted a Zoom session with me about how we can work with POs in Acquirell more easily. The session was conducted for free
