From clicks to conversions everything is easier with Google Ads

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Targeting local or specific audience based on the location, demographic and devices has been made easier now with Google Ads. We can show ads to the people who has visited to our site or visited in the past and push them to make the lead successful. Considering the scope of the Google Ads its always depends on the size , resource, product type and maturity of the business. In our organization we have used Google Ads for brand awareness and cross channel integration by using youtube video ads display network to reach wider audience. In cross-channel, we are integrating with offline channels, which means stores and tracking the store traffic on a real-time basis. Also, we use Google Analytics when integrated with Google Ads, which helps us to track the behaviour of store visits to unify the measurement and focus on scaling the capital.

Pros

  • Measurability and control
  • Flexible Targeting and segmentation
  • extensive Intent search traffic
  • Support Multiple formats of ad formats and multiple channels to integrate

Cons

  • Account ad suspension are very common without specifying which policy we have violated they perform the ad suspension even after the advertiser fixes the issue re-approval is delayed which is biggest pain point
  • Cost and transparency issue Rising cost of clicks with the competitive keywords for smaller business have very high CPC's or low ROI
  • We can observe the transparency issues which means its hard to see where exactly your ads are being shown especially on the display network unless you explicitly check them in regular intervals you may endup still paying for them
  • Geographic targeting sometimes feels like clunky or limited

Likelihood to Recommend

Google Ads works great especially using display, youtube videos to build brand awareness while search captures were kept intent if we have new products that are being launched with video and audio and this will help brand awareness to be build and this way search captures more traffic. In realtime as well if your product or services address an urgent need Google Ads can capture that intent very well and can increase the traffic based on the suggestions shared. Google Ads is considered less aprropriate when your website is slow not mobile friendly and the landing page will not align with what an ad promises a lot of ads spend can be wasted if you dont have good tracking and this will end up in a situation where you dont known which keyword/ad creative are working. Health finance and legal have strict policies where an ad shown which is irrelevant can lead to ads suspension and policy violation

Google Ads is being used in our organization for generating leads for our service related businesses. The owners believe strongly in using the search engine ads to increase visibility among folks googling for a specific service. This has been heavily used now for about 4 months, and the numbers have increased over prior months when this was not as heavy.

Pros

  • Allows for quick ad creation
  • Customization of ads is easy
  • Changing of ads is also easy - can be done in a matter of minutes

Cons

  • Increased functionality in terms of mobile changing
  • Better App function in being able to change copy from a phone
  • More ability to sent up search ads on a mobile device

When you want to get your message up, approved and in front of your consumer in a matter of minutes Google Ads is the way to go. Plus, with the features that so many potential customers are using that search engine first, it is opening up a world of opportunity for business to succeed.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Google Ads as a main form of marketing for our clients to gain new prospects and leads for each business we represent. The goal is for Google Ads to help grow our clients' businesses by providing quality leads in a cost-effective and efficient manner. The platform allows us to use wise budget setting measures which helps keep costs in line with our overall budget strategy.

Pros

  • Ad Delivery
  • Reporting
  • Lead generation

Cons

  • Difficult to import existing ads
  • Difficult to navigate
  • Report naming can be cumbersome

Likelihood to Recommend

Great platform to use as a lower funnel tactic and for lead driven advertisers. We see it pay off as it provides leads to advertisers who want to track phone calls or web form submissions. The platform is less relevant for branding businesses as the search pages do not offer much support for images.

  • Lead Conversions
  • Data
  • User tracking

Cons

  • B2B only targeting would be great
  • More information on target audiences
  • Sector targeting
  • More information on who is clicking on ads

Likelihood to Recommend

I would recommend it to anyone who is in B2B or B2C or both. Specifically thought, it depends upon your product and if it is suited for Google Ads as a method of lead generation or awareness generation. It might not be very suitable for higher ticket items where the purchase journey is a lot more complex where a need and solution is not easily communicated to a user. Overall Google provides a lot of information and it is easy to determine if Google Ads would be a google solution for lead generation for your business.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use the Google ads platform to run PPC campaigns in our core markets. Google has done a remarkable job of making the statistics easy to read and understand. I have an agency that works with us, and they do the bulk of the work, creating keywords and negative keywords. I use the platform for analytics, and it is easy to read for someone with no training.

Pros

  • PPC
  • Marketing
  • Analytics

Cons

  • Billing functionality
  • Exporting Reports for stakeholders
  • Spend Transparency

Likelihood to Recommend

Almost any business can benefit from Google Ads. Google is the number 1 search engine, and you are making a mistake if you are not advertising on it. Google Ads should be used for Pay per click marketing. Making sure you are at the top of a search is paramount to getting more business if your SEO is not ranking well.

Super tool for super businesses.

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use it to get leads for our business.

The business problem that we had was to get quality leads. And we used other platforms as well. But Google PPC (Pay-Per-Click) is the best platform to get users to see our website with similar interests.

Pros

  • Bring in Quality Leads for our business
  • List the website on top of our competitors on Google searches
  • I can get detailed information about the campaigns and set exactly what I want to spend

Cons

  • Its sometimes overwhelming. So if I was a beginner, it would be intimidating for me to grasp the vast features of Google Ads.
  • I feel that Automated bidding sometimes gets us to overspend a little more than required
  • I specifically wanted to target users based on very specific behaviors and interests, but the available audience segments are too broad sometimes.
  • I often use Search terms report which only shows a limited number of search queries, I find it hard to understand exactly which queries triggered ads.

Likelihood to Recommend

Well, it is very very well suited where you have a exceptionally good budget and know your audience. Know their behavior and choices. It is also good to have your best keywords and competitors data handy to be able to get best out of Google Ads.

It is less suited for people just starting out and has less finances. As Google Ads can lead to huge budget issue if not done well. It won't produce right results for you.

Google Ads is a great tool for new advertisers

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Currently I use Google Ads to run ad campaigns for clients across a variety of industries. We help research, develop, and report on advertising campaigns for search, display, and YouTube. Google Ads helps our clients generate leads at a faster rate than organic, with the breath of knowledge that our agency has to offer in the Google Ads platform. We also use Google Ads for tracking conversion actions that occur on our clients websites. This can help our clients report accurate results when it comes to their ad campaigns.

Pros

  • Conversion Tracking
  • Ad Campaign Reporting
  • Optimization Recommendations
  • Campaign Setup

Cons

  • Automated Reporting
  • More Accurate Budget Recommendations
  • Bulk Edit / Upload

Likelihood to Recommend

Google Ads is best suited for an environment where users are more comfortable with how the existing environment is set up. Google Ads has a significant learning curve, so as a new users, it can be hard to navigate through and make proper adjustments when needed. Without the required knowledge, it can burn through an advertising budget quickly.

Huge Disappointment

Rating: 1 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I tried to put and advertising campaign together by following the prompts I got from Goole Ads itself. The intention was to test the effectiveness of Google Ads in marketing a book that I wrote on Shopping Centre Management Skills. I am quite inexperienced, therefore I followed the example that was provided by Google Ads. For keywords I used simple straightforward and direct kind of words around the subject.

Cons

  • Google Ads can start by making
  • access to support personnel easier and
  • then teach them to respond quicker and be more responsive to customer input.

Likelihood to Recommend

Utterly unresponsive. One ends up with the "algorithm" that is in use giving the wrong messages. One is then left to experiment and try different things for the Advertising to become responsive. The reason why one is left experimenting is because support service is unresponsive and then later on (when they do respond) slow and vague in their advice. I ended up being told by the "system" that my website was "malicious" and "compromised" only for me to discover (after 3 separate and independent checks) that my site was indeed safe!!! It all ended up in my site now being flagged by Google ads as unacceptable by their own malicious, hostile and corrupted software!
