Overall Satisfaction with Google Ads

I use it to get leads for our business.

The business problem that we had was to get quality leads. And we used other platforms as well. But Google PPC (Pay-Per-Click) is the best platform to get users to see our website with similar interests.

Pros

  • Bring in Quality Leads for our business
  • List the website on top of our competitors on Google searches
  • I can get detailed information about the campaigns and set exactly what I want to spend

Cons

  • Its sometimes overwhelming. So if I was a beginner, it would be intimidating for me to grasp the vast features of Google Ads.
  • I feel that Automated bidding sometimes gets us to overspend a little more than required
  • I specifically wanted to target users based on very specific behaviors and interests, but the available audience segments are too broad sometimes.
  • I often use Search terms report which only shows a limited number of search queries, I find it hard to understand exactly which queries triggered ads.
  • we saw a 200% increase in website traffic after running targeted search and demographic ads. It lead to some good leads for our business.
  • We target users searching for "Web development company," resulting in highly qualified leads. campaign generates 10 high-quality leads at a cost when we reach our budget, it stops. And 10 leads are enough for us to play with in a week. Then we run the campaign again.
  • We as a service provider were able to track exactly how many sign-ups came from a specific ad campaign, it helped us to calculate ROI accurately.
  • So overall great tool to use. But I don't think everyone should do it. It is for people who has some good amount of investment to play with.
Well, to be honest, it definitely helped us. And thus, the high ratings. I love the support, I love the leads it brings, maybe on the higher side of costs, but all worth it. Google Ads is vast, I would recommend someone to educate themselves first for a few days before diving into this beautiful tool.
Well, I use Facebook/Meta pixels sometimes. But it is not as good as Google Ads. There are a lot of people searching on Google for good web development firms but how many are there finding the same sort of person on Facebook or Linkedin?
Thus, I like the abundance of users trying to find our services which I can target.

Well, it is very very well suited where you have a exceptionally good budget and know your audience. Know their behavior and choices. It is also good to have your best keywords and competitors data handy to be able to get best out of Google Ads.

It is less suited for people just starting out and has less finances. As Google Ads can lead to huge budget issue if not done well. It won't produce right results for you.
