We use it for email security and protection. Cyber security is very important at our company, so with Hoxhunt it filters the emails as well as trains us regularly to spot phishing emails. I think we get them approximately monthly? It’s also tracks our progress to which is sent to management.

Well in our organization we are using Hoxhunt to ramp up our cybersecurity awareness. As phishing attacks are always lurking around trying to trick us into malicious links & getting our sensitive information away. The main problem we are tackling with Hoxhunt is Human element of cybersecurity because no matter how good It defence systems are Humans can still be the weak link. The scope is pretty broad from top level executives to new hires everyone gets a taste of simulated attacks. It creates these realistic scenarios that mimics the latest phishing attacks.
  • Realistic scenarios
  • personalized training paths
  • engaging content
  • gamified trainings
  • detailed analytics
  • advanced security threat emails for advanced trainings
  • enhanced reporting features
  • more customization options
1. Limited IT resources - If an organization has limited It resources & struggle to manage additional cybersecurity tools, implementing Hoxhunt might be challenging. It requires some administration & oversight to be effective.
2. Highly technical user base/Where high security risks are there - Hoxhunt training content is too basic against high level of phishing attacks, its more detailed for general audience rather than for the people with high technical expertise.

Hello Hoxhunt is used to track the spam and threat emails received in our company's email box. Also there are hoxhunt trainings to train employees what emails are ok and what emails emloyees should not open or click any links in it that can be a threat to the employee and company data
  • Track malicious emails
  • Train employees on the malicious emails
  • Gives a fun learning for the employees by badges.
  • More detailed info on how much time user took to click on the malicious link and what could have been better.
Its best suited to track the spam/malicious emails that could impact users personal and company legal info. Phising info is best in hoxhunt and also one best things is fun learning trainings and experinece.

I really enjoy using HoxHunt as a final user. It is a tool that helps us to maintain knowledge about the most common threats that hackers use to obtain sensitive information or access our devices. Through random tests focused on the user's work profile, it presents us with emails to test the user's knowledge, or to detect those who may be a weak link in the cyber security chain. A company's sensitive information is more likely to keep safe under constant training for the final user. It has attractive monthly goals to achieve for the user to gain badges throughout the learning path to motivate their effort.
  • Presents trending security tips for the user to avoid the leak of information or device infections
  • Motivates the progress in the user's learning path through success badges
  • Uses graphic and friendly examples for a better and easier understanding of possible threats
  • It may have a shortcut to the user's personal dashboard to be able to see the progress on the learning path
  • Some of the messages are already marked as dangerous by our internal service detection and might never make it to appear in my inbox, so you might miss the hit.
Hoxhunt has the right strategy to make the users stop and think twice about what they are reading or clicking. Taking the user to the point of double-checking on every single unexpected message, and creating a safer scenario for any company.

HoxHunt was something I was confused by at first. But now after using it, I think its a WONDERFUL idea to implement this into your business. It's a really great way to teach employee's the dangers of getting hacked via email. All while doing it in a fun and creative way!
  • teaches you different types of email's that could compromise your business
  • teaches you to be aware of certain wording on emails
  • it would be cool to give out prizes for certain levels or badges
I think it would be suited for anyone , in business and personal. I would like to use this in my personal email as well. Sometimes I just click the HoxHunt button just to make sure the email i'm about to open is legit. and 9/10 its not.

I am an employee and the Hoxhunt is used by my organization to make us aware of online threats, phishing, spamming, etc. and it is very useful. let me tell you how by a few examples 1. I got a mail from Hoxhunt that my GitHub account password has been changed and that someone is trying to access my account. If I have clicked on that link then might be all the data from my laptop must have been stolen or my system might have been hacked. 2. I got a mail from an anonymous that due to the hybrid model, I have to give my seat to someone else. Then this can disturb me for a longer period of time, till the time I reach the company and discuss it with the concerned authority. 3. One day I got a mail from workday that there are some personal data I have to upload, but what can go wrong, in this case, will be I didn't check the mail id of the sender and just because I used to the mail from workday, I might have clicked on the link. So in short what I will say is Hoxhunt covers all shorts of field in which a person gets hunted and prevent them from being hunted by sending these emails.

  • job offer scam
  • charity scam
  • corona scam
It is best suited for scams related to organization work or organization data hacks because a person mostly gets scammed in these. Whenever we see mail that has data or something related to organizational work or has an organization name, then most people click on the link because mostly we ignore looking that the mail came from a valid organizational Id. It is worst suited for banks related scams.

The main problem the software solves is that it trains people In the organization about various online threat and how people across can hack into our systems using various methods. The whole software gamifies the process of learning and it's never ending. It provides a dashboard and achievements ghat we can see and share with people around claiming to have done very well in the training. It also ranks us against our other collegues
  • Teaching as a game
  • Dashboard for progress
  • Rakesh your progress amounts others
  • More realistic mails
  • Increased fequency
  • Training sessions
Any organization that want to teach employees about various types of hacking methods that hacker use and also identify the weak links amongst employees can actually use the software. I recommend every organization to use this software. It would really help people gain realistic experience and they can compete to be best amongst the other team mates

I use it as a tool to practice my security skills and identify phishing scams or other tactics in spam mail. It helps to provide good tests for me on a regular basis where I am consistently ensuring I am following the appropriate procedures for handling suspicious emails. It gets me into the mind set that I need to constantly be vigilant and always follow the protocols outlined in the material whenever suspicion arises.
  • Create tricky spam mails
  • Motivates me to try to be vigilant with my security practices
  • Teaches me about various tactics used by scammers and how to avoid them
  • The ability to change the frequency might be useful
  • Other types of real world tests outside of just spam mail
  • The ability to dig deeper into content around security
It is well suited in my opinion for anyone who is in a position where they may need to practice their ability to understand when an email may be spam, as well as what they should do in terms of protecting themselves when those situations arise. It is less appropriate for users who are more or less security experts and have ample experience with phishing attacks or other email scams.

We use Hoxhunt as ongoing employee training to raise awareness for attacks. The constant test that gets sent across ensures that everyone is kept on their toes and helps maintain breaches within our system. The software allows our users to learn the different ways in which we can get attacked and this can help us not incur losses by data breaches.
  • Send intermittent email tests to users.
  • It gives lessons after each event that was detected.
  • You can track how well you are doing and see where you can improve.

Hoxhunt is very useful in any business which uses data. Sales are the biggest part of our business and losing our customer data would give us a big blow from our competitors. The fact that Hoxhunt is always testing users has made our users more security savvy or even more cautious about how they handle incoming suspicious content. We now have more people raising their hands on questionable emails even if Hoxhunt does not send them.

Hoxhunt provides us with a variety of exercises to practice our awareness of phishing and spam emails. I enjoy the competition, as it provides us with a status of where we compare to other people in the organization, and I try to catch as many as I can without just deleting them. It also provides each person with a progress level with milestones. All and all I think this is a good tool and it takes just the right amount of time without overdoing it; so it is not just an annoyance, it has great value.
  • Disguises emails like someone from within the organization.
  • Does a good job of making an email seem urgent.
  • Does a good job of appealing to the emotions, to attract someone to open an attachment.
  • Seems to pick up on recent topics that you had emailed about, and tries to imitate something in that topic.
  • When I look at my dashboard, it says I missed opportunities, and I would like to know more about what I missed and why (did it just go to my spam so I never bothered to look at it or what?)
  • I'd like more feedback on Spam - why do so many people send spam for one, like it isn't obvious it is spam?
With our industry having many regulations, this is an excellent tool to help us be more aware of the risks of emails causing security breaches in our IT areas within the company. With so many of us working remotely part of the time, it is especially useful.

I use Hoxhunt Gamified Phishing Training in my journal as a tool for linking malicious emails. It helps to considerably improve knowledge so as not to fall for a phishing email. For example: When an email arrives, are users often not careful to analyze the general data, such as who sent it? Are you a trusted sender? whether there are links to click? misspellings? and that can put the entire organization at risk! With the help of Hoxhunt, we are gradually understanding several points where we should pay attention to and avoid falling into these malicious emails. It helps to understand how important it is to have more advanced knowledge on the subject, this makes each employee more qualified to defend themselves virtually.
  • Helps understand phishing email
  • Interactive learning, facilitating understanding
  • Score ranking that helps to engage
  • Shows common errors in phishing emails
  • Constant learning about how to protect yourself virtually
  • The score could be more transparent, as there are people with more stars and I don't know why, as I correctly reported the phishing
  • Have other ways to get stars other than just reporting email
  • Have a user score comparison tool
It is suitable for companies as a whole, as it helps to prevent users from clicking on malicious emails, thus preventing an attack that puts the company at risk of security and can leak sensitive information. It is ideal in scenarios where we have sensitive data to protect, where you cannot be careless with emails, you always need to pay attention and analyze before making a decision to click or not on any email link. For example, checking if an email is known, if it is reliable, if there are any suspicious links, and if the email has a certain urgency to click on the links, are some of the precautions that you can learn from Hoxhunt Gamified Phishing Training. In my experience of use, I don't see it being indicated for purposes other than learning about phishing, as far as I'm aware this is Hoxhunt's strong point.

Day by day I am getting better at recognizing the problems and the threats and I am able to deal with them easily.

Using the training as part of company-wide training to reduce malware, phishing and other such cyber attacks mostly propagated using targeted emails. The threat landscape is continuously changing due to changing geopolitical dynamics which make these kinds of trainings essential to protect organizations, especially IT and ITES organizations from potential threats. The gamified nature of the training really helps increase the engagement of the employees as it is interesting to see your progress and earn badges while you learn valuable lessons in cyber security. Hoxhunt really knows how to get across this very important message in an interesting way. This is way more fun than the mandatory trainings which is utterly boring and has to be forced upon employees.
  • Making us aware of different types of phishing practices.
  • Making the training fun by the use of gamification, badges, leaderboards, and the whole shebang.
  • The levels become more difficult so that in the later stage the emails for training are very cleverly disguised as normal messages thus forcing you to be more careful and increasing your attention to detail to spot the signs of malware or phishing in the emails.
  • Expand the training target to other communication channels like Microsoft Teams.
  • include video resources for learning about cybersecurity.
Hoxhunt Gamified Phishing Training is an absolute must in IT and ITES organizations, Customer support organizations, Call centers, etc which make extensive use of emails for communication and where external emails are freely allowed in the employee inboxes.

Hoxhunt simulates all types of hacking attacks. It frequently sends emails to the users to find the type of attack. If the user clicks on a link or opens a file, it gives tips to find such attacks in the future. If we find the correct attack Hoxhunt recognizes it with different star levels and awards in our organization once in a while.
  • Simulates the Phishing, spam attack emails.
  • Provides details about the attack if user clicks on a link or opens a file.
  • Rewards the users who finds more simulated attacks.
  • Has a provision to mark spam email, and Hoxhunt performs a thorough analysis and sends reports on completion.
  • To find malicious URLs with slight change in URL like a with à.
Hoxhunt helps to find real potential attacks very easily with the simulated attacks or training. The provision of marking the emails and the detailed analysis reports. A detailed summary of links the user clicked or the summary of malicious files opened. I am an end-user. We use Hoxhunt Gamified Phishing Training to simulate phishing attacks and spam and allow employees to demonstrate how they would react to emails asking them to give up personal or sensitive information, or emails that guide them to click malicious or misleading links. As a large company with many end-users, it is great to get exposure to attacks that other business units might see.
  • Simulated attacks
  • Awareness maintenance
  • Vigilance
  • Needs to be more end-user specific
  • Needs to be more frequent to reflect reality of attacks
This is appropriate for any position that uses email (this is almost every position, these days). All employees with email access are attack vectors for malicious actors; keeping them informed and vigilant is of paramount importance. It may be less appropriate for completely closed (i.e. air-gapped) systems separated from the wider internet.

We randomly receive emails that are spam or phishing emails. If we respond to them, we receive a notification that we failed to spot the threatening email. If we recognize it, open Hoxhunt, and report it, we receive star tokens that help push us to different levels. I recently reached the Stone level for example.
  • Their emails are sometimes very hard to spot, so has caused me to be a lot more cautious.
  • The gamification piece makes participation fun.
  • The system is easy to use and unobtrusive on the desktop.
  • While the "Good Job!" verbiage and tokens given are fine, other apps I use to make a bit more fanfare with a correct choice. I May consider sprucing that up a bit.
  • While the program has made me more cautious with emails, I have sometimes thought that it would be nice to have more real-life examples of the consequences of various types of emails being clicked on.
I come from an IT Management background, and I remember speaking to a CFO who had been hit by a scam to steal employee W2 information. He told me, "You can spend millions of dollars on security, but in the end, it comes down to does your individual employee click on that button." I think Hoxhunt is a brilliant way to make employees wary of clicking anything in an email without studying the email first, and with the randomness of its emails, it does a good job of keeping security front of mind. Some groups may even want to up the ante and give a prize or reward to the employee with the highest number of tokens in a quarter. I think this is a far more hands-on, day-to-day security training module than I have seen. It also is easy to use, takes up little time out of your day, and is unobtrusive on your desktop. While I find Ninjio innovative and effective in overall security training, Hoxhunt gets my nod for the most effective email security product I have used to date.

Hoxhunt is deployed to increase the awareness and response to phishing attempts throughout our organization. It has steadily increased the success scores during the last year. The program is adept at crafting realistic phishing attempts and then educating users after a successful or unsuccessful attempt. It does a great job at keeping security at the forefront of the mind of the user especially when they have roles outside of security.
  • It crafts realistic phishing attempts.
  • It adapts to the skill of the user to make it harder as necessary.
  • It provides educational information after an attempt is made (successful or not).
  • I don't have access to the management console but it would be nice to see a success metrics.
Hoxhunt is great at bringing up organizational awareness and competency. It adapts to the proficiency of the user so it is not a static solution that only low-level users would need. Given the size of our company, it provides a tremendous benefit to reduce the overall risk of phishing attempts.

Hoxhunt helps us train employees to recognize and report phishing attempts. Being in the Finance industry, we face an increasing amount of phishing aimed at compromising our employees. We believe by teaching them to recognize common telltale signs of an attack that we can reduce the chances of success of most phishing campaigns and help keep our data safer.
  • Providing realistic attack examples to train employees on.
  • Incentivizing employees to recognize and report mail that isn't legitimate.
  • Providing training for employees that walks them through how to detect illegitimate emails.
  • I haven't seen much that I would improve on.
  • I think the product is solid and I like the features it has.
Every business faces online attacks; attackers don't care who you are and will take whatever they can get. However, businesses that deal with a lot of confidential customer information like the Healthcare or Finance industries will find they are more targeted than some other businesses might be, just because attackers know that if they can get their hands on protected information, they can either perpetuate identity fraud or sell the information for a lot of money to someone who will use it for identity fraud. Hoxhunt is useful to help train all employees to recognize when a phishing attempt is being made. It may make them begin over-reporting innocent mail, but in my opinion, it is better to overreport than it is to let a single phishing attempt succeed.

Hoxhunt is a great way to learn about different techniques that malicious entities may use to gain access to private and protected information. Hoxhunt teaches you how to spot potential phishing attempts and the proper way to deal with them. This is a great for companies that may have sensitive information so that all their employees can be trained to spot these attempts. The "Gamified" part is great as it gives users some incentive to follow through with the training and try their best to spot these attempts.
  • Creates realistic phishing attempts.
  • Once you spot a phishing attempt, it breaks everything down to show you exactly what to look for.
  • Gives rewards and tracks points for each successful attempt that you identify.
  • It seems some users receive more phishing attempts which leads to them getting more points than others.
  • Some of the phishing attempts can be pretty easy to spot.
Hoxhunt is well suited for companies that may have sensitive information that they want to protect. In this case, Hoxhunt will make the employees well suited to be able to spot any malicious attempts to gather information from them or the company. Companies that don't have much sensitive information and aren't worried about information leaking outside of the company may not find Hoxhunt to be of much help.

Hoxhunt phishing training is very useful in identifying phishing and suspicious emails, emails are very close to real scenarios and sometimes it is very difficult to resist clicking.
  • Emails close to your work related tasks.
  • Emails related to promotions, etc.
  • Emails related to rewards.
  • Difficult to find any improvement areas.
  • Could send such emails more frequently.
Hoxhunt Gamified Phishing training is very helpful in identifying real phishing emails as emails look very close to your work-related activities and have a real logo of the company. Email-id is also very similar to your official email ids and the subject of the email is very attractive that you will not think too much before clicking, also it provides feedback when you identify such emails so that you will be well prepared.

HoxHunt serves as an entertaining form of training to increase security in email networks.
  • Engaging
  • Develops personal competitiveness with goals and achievements
  • Clear, intuitive and easy to use
  • Informative
  • Sometimes points/stars are unclear.
  • Easy to miss some emails and simply ignore/erase them when they are TOO similar to the real thing, and something very commonly used such as "People are looking at your profile on LinkedIn".
  • Looking at leader boards within your own specific team so that it's more fun to compare.
I think it's well suited for most demographics but especially people with less knowledge regarding phishing or spam, including the distinction between both and how to spot it. It's been particularly helpful as a young person who can easily identify it but pays less attention to taking it seriously and would usually just disregard the message. I think for people working within tech or IT, it might be less relevant given their jobs might be closely tied to topics like this, meaning they would have a clearer understanding of how to handle such situations.
