Hoxhunt is a great way to learn about different techniques that malicious entities may use to gain access to private and protected information. Hoxhunt teaches you how to spot potential phishing attempts and the proper way to deal with them. This is a great for companies that may have sensitive information so that all their employees can be trained to spot these attempts. The "Gamified" part is great as it gives users some incentive to follow through with the training and try their best to spot these attempts.
- Creates realistic phishing attempts.
- Once you spot a phishing attempt, it breaks everything down to show you exactly what to look for.
- Gives rewards and tracks points for each successful attempt that you identify.
- It seems some users receive more phishing attempts which leads to them getting more points than others.
- Some of the phishing attempts can be pretty easy to spot.
- Demonstrating realistic scenarios.
- Score tracking to keep engagement high.
- Lessons on how to spot various type of phishing attempts.
- Has made me more confident in when viewing emails from external sources.
- There has been plenty of engagement across the company with hundreds of employees participating each quarter.
