IDU supports business agility through real-time, accurate, inclusive budgeting, forecasting and reporting.

IDU’s budgeting, forecasting and reporting tools are designed for both financial and non-financial managers to use and understand. The solution is presented through a web-based platform, offering real-time aggregation and consolidation of budget values, with point and click reporting.

IDU interfaces an with existing ERP solution to resolve problems inherent in spreadsheet-based budgeting, forecasting and reporting.

Available in Light, Standard and Enterprise editions, with varying levels of functionality and complexity to meet a company’s specific requirements. Users can choose to deploy IDU-Concept on-premise, in a private cloud of choice or in IDU's Microsoft Azure-based cloud —all the platforms offer exactly the same functionality.

Daily user of IDU-Concept

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use IDU-Concept daily. We use it for Income Statements per cost centre as well as comparing actuals to budget and actuals to the prior year. This is available with a 30min window on the Cloud platform making it almost real-time. The Income Statements layouts, groups and view can be customised as needed. The standout feature however is the budgets module. Quick and easy budgets and forecasting.

Return on Investment

  • Our ERP cannot provide Income Statements per region and actual vs budget. So the ROI is immeasurable in this aspect. We report our results on a monthly basis.
  • Budgeting has become so much easier as we have over 50 cost centres that are populated by the business and imported with ease.
  • The ability to review the Income Statements based on cost centre and in detail per GL makes reviewing so much easier.
