Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

I suggest you do not use them as a brokerage for your agents. In my experience, the system is very difficult to use. The checklist items they use are CA based, but, in my experience, they tell you the checklists are for your state. We have not been able to use our accounts since 9/26/23 in the full intended and promised service use. We have had to use other methods. In our experience, when we requested to cancel under our right for breach of contract (failure to provide service as it is intended and paid for use) they argued and fought us. We revoked their right to use our cards until a resolution was found - but, in my opinion, they don't care they'll do whatever they want. In my opinion, they do not seek to find resolutions if a dispute is brought to their attention. I think they'd rather ignore the dispute. In my opinion, customer support is non-existent unless you are adding on more services and giving them more money. In my opinion, they do not setup your accounts properly from day one and do not care to. We were told we were getting into a monthly agreement with the right to cancel with a term of up to 12-months. In our experience, they ended up messing up our entire contract. An ambassador tried to tell me an effective date - as outlined in our contract - was not actually an effective date. She tried to tell us the effective date was just when we signed and then the contract started on a random subscription licensing date she picked off the form - which that date was also incorrect - subscription and licensing also started on the "effective date of 9-26-23" as per the contract, but I believe she seems to think effective date means nothing. I am very aware that it is common contract knowledge that an effective date is a start date for a contract... We won't be using them again and will advise others to stay away from them. I think they are mediocre at best - customer support is slim to none. In my opinion, the ambassadors try to save the company a dollar but end up costing them thousands. We were intending to continue to use their TC services after we canceled the SkySlope and books services, but after the ambassador showed us they didn't actually care for us, our needs, our service, and, in my opinion, lied about the effective date not being the effective date - we won't be using them at all.
I think SkySlope is overcomplicated, the checklists do not apply to our state. In my opinion, customer support is subpar to what is promised.
  • In our experience, we can't use the system at all as it is overcomplicated
  • In our experience, our accounts were never setup correctly from day 1
  • In my opinion, waste of energy, time, and money.

This software is being used by our entire organization. It has helped the company become paperless in our record-keeping while bundling a digital software service that we all need. Our agents can keep documents organized, it makes document review easy, helps manage forms, contact info for clients, manage tasks, and archive old documents.
  • The checklists are very good. The manager can outline exact expectations and users get clarity on those expectations.
  • Their digital signature software is very good. I have used several others and it is every bit as good as others and is included in the cost of the software saving all of my agents money.
  • The archive functionality is very good as well. It makes it easy to get old files out of the main dashboard, while making retrieving them just as easy
  • Their customer service is AMAZING. They always give a quick answer, they are always available and courteous, can't say enough positive about this.
  • Their task manager is not good at all. It is clunky and not very intuitive. In principle, I like the ability to assign tasks to new transactions, but overall this functionality lacks.
  • If a file is created, it canNOT be deleted. This is very annoying in the case of accidental file creation; it jumbles the archive. Seems like a very easy thing to implement, but support said there isn't currently a way.
  • The quick audit function is great when files are new, but it is not available for completed files to do the final review. Again an easy implement you would think, but not having this makes reviewing files in the final stages very clunky. It takes forever. Support gave me a workaround, so that helps.
SkySlope is most suited for real estate firm document management. I cannot think of another industry that it would be suited for; it is pretty specific. If you have less than 20-30 transactions a year, it wouldn't probably be worth the money versus just scanning. Our company does ~150 per year, and it saves me so much time. It is great for managing brokers of any sized firm with a fair number of transactions.
  • Saved me (the broker/owner) enormous amounts of time
  • Saved our transaction coordinator enormous amounts of time
  • Given our agents clear objectives and a software bundle that is valuable to them
SkySlope just has a lot more functionality over this software. All three have a comparable digital signature and templating capabilities. but SkySlope has many additional purposes. I have not found another software like it. Other software I demo-ed was not even close, so SkySlope seems to have the market cornered, but I haven't evaluated again for a couple of years.
I would give it an 11 if I could. It's very responsive, very informative, very prompt. This is probably the biggest strength of the company.
