Feature-Packed Communication Software

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Zulip is used at my organization as a means of of instant communication. The problem that Zulip solves is getting a quick response from anyone in the organization. We use it for direct messages, we have different topics of discussion housed within each thread/channel, and we're able to organize group chats between each department and they are kept within those departments.

Pros

  • Letting you send direct messages
  • Letting you customize each message like adding bullet points and hyperlinks
  • Keeping each thread organized

Cons

  • It would be nice to see a person's title under their name when you click their profile
  • It would be nice to see a person's direct report when you click their profile
  • Including more personalized information in the quick view of a profile would be nice

Return on Investment

  • I don't feel suited to answer this as I have been with my organization for less than 2 months.
