Overall Satisfaction with 6sense

I'm part of the digital team and we use it to create segments (layered with prospect accounts, keywords, product intent etc.) and sync these segments with ad platforms, like LinkedIn and Google

Pros

  • Intent data for accounts
  • Auto sync segments with ad platforms

Cons

  • More signals for APJ markets like Japan, Taiwan and South Korea
  • Poor segment match rate for Google audiences
  • Higher % of accounts reached
Yes, 6sense has helped to a certain extent. We review 6sense account engagement regularly to assess if marketing has effectively penetrated our target accounts. It is difficult to tie it in with pipe, as it requires a very manual internal reporting process. The display advertising platform within 6sense is not great for APJ - not sure if due to low inventory, but APJ display ADS reaches a small audience and performs below CTR.
Bombora and 6sense have pretty similar capabilities e.g. providing surging account lists.

Yes

6sense is appropriate for segment syncs. It is also used as sales intelligence (product intent data for accounts), and also for SDR outreach emails. It requires a buy-in from many teams (marketing ops, sales ops, product etc.) if we were to implement new features like 6QA or AI automated emails.
