Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign

I use ActiveCampaign for managing all my contact lists that I nurture with my content marketing.

My goal is to create content that educate or engage with people regarding a specific niche/needs, and by providing them content that answer their questions, learn them new things, help them solve problems, or help them make greater choices, I am building a win-win relationship with my audience: They save time, money, frustrations & I make money in exchange (same way as a service provider).

AC helps me centralise every written communication I send to my audience when I want to present them new ideas or when I want to engage directly and intimately (in a message consuming point of view) with them, and it helps me do it accordingly to a specific pace that I choose to apply (with the help of automations).

I can decide if I send mails directly to my list, or if I prefer to wait for them to take a specific action on my website, or if I want to wait for them to open a specific message, or click a specific link.

This helps me keep in touch only with hot segments of my list.
  • On site event tracking
  • Automation Creation
  • Designing template for the mails you want to send
  • Keeping your list organized
  • UX of the dashboard (USE MORE CONTRAST !!)
  • Increase the visibility of the teaching platform of ActiveCampaign
  • Increase the UX of the 'starting a campaign' menu
  • Implement 100s of emails addresses fast
  • Create 1 full campaign in one night (5 long copy mails)
  • Integrate easily with WordPress (and save a lot of time)
GetResposne was really good UX a few years ago, but now ActiveCampaign has a similar experience to provide when building and linking every step of your automation.

Mailchimp is something I hate to use as their interface is mind-bogglingly bad, and I find it very VERY confusing (everything is in black and white, the interface doesn't help you understand what menu to click on, etc... Very bad experience using Mailchimp (i prefer to pay instead of using it even for free).

Do you think ActiveCampaign delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with ActiveCampaign's feature set?

Yes

Did ActiveCampaign live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of ActiveCampaign go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy ActiveCampaign again?

Yes

I only recommend that to my friends, sometimes I want to implement it for my clients, but as they are big casual on all of the marketing stuff, I just don't.

I'd say it's less appropriate for people who don't specifically want to dig deep into marketing and CRO, but if you are a marketer and CRO and copywriting is what you do all day long, then ActiveCampaign is a good choice IMO.
