Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign
For Marketing Automations, Database segmentation, integration with our current CRM (we do not use the CRM or pipeline functions in Active Campaign)
- Automations are logical, easy to understand, and build
- Tagging is very easy
- Importing data and data clean up is simple
- Segmentation is not easy to work with
- Reports are too basic, not easy to craft meaningful reports
- Campaigns (basically emails) need expanded functionality, or just remove them and force them to be used in automations (even if just simple)
- Your new interface for email templates is clunky, and does not accommodate migration from older templates that have been crafted
- Your knowledge center is difficult to navigate and often hard to work with (separate platform with login). Consider a portal format as an upgrade path
- As a nonprofit, this is a necessary cost center for our organization and because CRM doesn't track donor information (which is different from sales funnels and pipelines) effectively so we don't use the CRM function in the platform
- Positive impact thru automations reducing repetitive tasks, we were able to redirect a staff person to another role because of the operational efficiency provided by ActiveCampaign
