Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop is used by various groups within our organization. It is used for everything from product design, UI design, web design, custom graphics, and manipulation and optimization of photography taken by our organization and photography purchased online. It allows us to create professional quality visual components limited only by our creativity.
  • Removing unwanted elements from photos
  • Custom graphic creation
  • Resizing images
  • Combining images
  • Steep learning curve
  • Vector graphic creation and manipulation
  • Photoshop has a positive return on investment for us because it allows us to create professional graphics which are necessary to attract buyers to our site and to train users within our organization.
Photoshop is the industry standard for photo and general graphic manipulation. We choose photoshop for graphic creation, but we still leverage tools like Illustrator, InDesign, and Lightroom for different needs. There are free tools available that will do similar things, but nothing has the robust, capable feature set of Adobe Photoshop.
Photoshop is so widely used that it's easy to find support resources online. If Adobe's help site doesn't have the answer, chances are really good you'll be able to find the answer in a free YouTube video. I've never had to reach out to Adobe customer support, but their help pages are robust and the Photoshop community is huge. Not hard to find someone willing to help when you get stuck.

Did implementation of Adobe PhotoShop go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Adobe PhotoShop again?

Yes

Photoshop is well suited for editing photos, combining photos, correcting color, and resizing photographs. For photographers it provides deep editing capabilities with tools like the healing brush and clone stamp tool to remove blemishes and smooth skin imperfections.

It is useful for bitmap image creation and some vector content creation. For heavy-duty vector creation, you'd want to head over to Illustrator.
