Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Sign

We need to secure rights contracts for films we want in our catalog. This involves getting busy executives to sign, which means the process needs to be as quick and simple as possible, with sensible reminder policies. We use it primarily in the asset acquisition department, but it is used in the investment side of the business.
  • Setting up and managing templates is reasonably easy.
  • Reminders and status updates happen automatically and sleekly.
  • The brand name gives confidence in the security of the system.
  • [The] log-in [page could use improvement because] unless you have saved the exact URL, it is very hard to find your way to it.
  • Support [could use improvement]. There is little to no support available. If you click on "chat" from [Adobe] Sign, you are taken to a service that doesn't provide help on [Adobe] Sign. Trying to get help takes a VERY long time.
  • The reduction in workload tracking agreements (once learning had taken place!!) was impressive.
  • [It] reduced effort for recipients to sign, along with reminders, [and] improved signing rates.
  • The brand improves confidence in the process among new recipients.
[In my experience,] the "chat" function in Adobe Sign takes you to a department that doesn't deal with Adobe Sign (they usually don't know Adobe Sign even exists!). A similar thing often happens when searching through the written documents... you get lots of hits telling you how to get documents signed using more expensive products, but very little about Adobe Sign... [in my opinion,] it [feels] like a bait-and-switch [to me] to get you to buy a more expensive product.
Adobe Sign is a rather intuitive, obvious platform, with [a] few "weird" things to learn. If there [was] even rudimentary support, I would rate the platform MUCH higher. [In my opinion,] logging in is a perennial headache... it is VERY hard to find the login screen if you don't have it [saved]. Setting up and modifying templates is quite simple, and sending and tracking agreements is very easy.
When we identify a film title we want and have negotiated the terms with the owner, we enter the specific values in the fields (film name, owner's identity, etc). This helps ensure that we use a standardized agreement form, making compliance much easier. Once the document has been signed, we don't need to think about it again, until it is signed - Adobe Sign sends reminders periodically, and sends me the executed document once it is signed; if I need to see the status of agreements, there is an easily navigated dashboard.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat Sign delivers good value for the price?

No

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat Sign's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat Sign live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat Sign go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat Sign again?

No

Adobe Sign has the brand-name edge on the other products. It is towards the upper end of the price range, with features comparable to the others. It would be a stronger contender if it had support and if logging in wasn't such a challenge. Not my first choice, but not a bad option if you have the time to learn it completely.
If you are going to integrate Adobe Sign into a wider system, you are going to become an expert who never needs to ask for help, [but] it's a pretty good system. If you are a small company that doesn't have the resources to have a single expert, and you need to get help on questions, there are better platforms.
