Overall Satisfaction with ADP Vantage HCM
We currently have 31 different pay groups that we process payroll for. We just implemented the recruiting module a few months ago that feeds into VantageHCM for all new hires. We're still trying to reduce the amount of paper that is processed between the business units, HR, and payroll. Everything is working as we expect it to.
- The dedicated service team allows for faster response to issues.
- It provides easy navigation for all employees, managers, and practitioners.
- Time cards, benefits, and payroll are all part of VantageHCM -- instead of three separate systems.
- It could provide a better reporting functionality for practitioners.
- I would like notifications from ADP when certain areas of the system are not working or are running slow.
- I would like more detailed instructions on how to do certain things, such as a new state tax setup.
- It's allowed us to rethink how we process payroll and our internal payroll deadlines.
- We use it to utilize all tools provided when processing payroll to ensure accuracy.
- There was not enough training during implementation -- we still have to create numerous SR's on a weekly basis.
Having timecards, benefits, and payroll all in one program is a big plus! The system we converted from was very archaic and we needed a system to be able to handle 30 payrolls with the possible of adding additional companies over the new few years. Also, to have a company that handles all of the tax filings since we are in numerous states.
ADP is well suited for a larger company with at least 100 or more employees. It's too complex for a small company with less than 50 employees, but it is a great system to migrate to if using multiple systems for timecards, benefits, and payroll. when ensuring we are compliance with new state requirements, hard to verify with ADP is all of our companies have been set up correctly.

Using ADP Vantage HCM
everyone has to enter timecards, view their pay stubs, view W2, enter address changes, enter direct deposit information, update tax information. Practitioners use system daily while employees may use system lots less. Managers need to use system for personal use as well as approving timecards and approving time off. Even our executives use HCM!
12 - All of the HR and payroll professionals that reside in our corporate office are the support people for ADP Vantage. We do have field practitioners who access the system on a daily basis for processing purposes for that actually look to our corporate employees for assistance. We like to have employees that have some HR or payroll experience as a requirement for the support staff.

Because we have only been using the system for 5 years, we will continue using this service until our business outgrows the support we need or is unable to meet our needs. we need a system that will integrate with our carriers and well as our general ledger system. We are currently looking for another GL system to fit our needs that will need to integrate with ADPVantage.

Change management was a major issue with the implementation - change is always hard for employees that have long tenure with a company.

Service requests are closed without any communication. Lack of 24-48 response time from our service team. we do have a bi-weekly meeting after each payroll is ran but lack of follow through from the service team is lacking. We just had a new service team assigned to us, so we will see how it goes.

only time I can think is when their was a billing discrepancy, their were no questions asked and I received my refund at the next billing cycle.
Using ADP Vantage HCM
Expect an additional amount of time for hands-on training to be able to utilize the system to its greatest capability. I come from using ADP Workforce now so lots of the functionality is the same but called something else in ADPVantage. Just need to be willing to realize same functionality but called something else.

Yes - very well - we use MY ADP which allows employees to log time, look at pay stubs, change direct deposit information and request time off. This is also used by managers to approve timecards and approve vacations time. Ability to let our employee be mobile and not hold up payroll processing each week.

most of the time - their are times when system goes down in middle of processing payroll
sometimes system is glitchy - just becomes more of an issue during payroll processing timeframe.
