Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

Our company uses ADP Workforce Now across the whole organization. Our employees use the online and mobile app for viewing their paychecks and requesting PTO. We also are using Time & Attendance and Benefits and Talent Management features. The reporting in ADP Workforce Now provides information that we use for 401K, taxes, budgeting, and many other areas.
  • ADP Workforce Now helps us track our overtime hours. We monitor this on a weekly basis, and by running a custom report, the information is generated immediately.
  • Everything is automated so we are not relying on manual input which could lead to human error.
  • The benefits portion makes it easy to provide our employees with many choices. The benefits can be structured according to our plans.
  • Paid Time Off can be requested at any time and the supervisors are notified immediately. They have the ability to track their department by using the calendar, which shows all PTO listed all in one place.
  • It would be nice if a PTO request could be changed instead of having to cancel the original request and create a new one.
  • Terminating an employee can be a little confusing when you are in the benefits sections. Especially in regards to when/if you need to terminate the benefits and which ones are terminated right away.
  • When to terminate a direct deposit is also a little confusing.
  • It has reduced the time supervisors spend on the approval of hours and PTO.
  • It has reduced the payroll processing time.
  • We are able to retrieve more information using the reports function.
Our HR team has saved time, but I'm not sure how much. - Prior to implementing ADP Workforce Now, employees had to contact the HR department to request information in regards to their paycheck. They also were required to fill out a paper request for their paid time off and then supervisors had to submit the approval/denial to HR. The approvals had to then be interred into the payroll system. ADP Workforce Now automates this process by giving the employee the ability to request PTO through the mobile app or by logging in on their computer.

For payroll each week, the employee's time had to be exported out of a time clock software into an Excel spreadsheet and then verified. Once verified, it was then imported into the payroll software. ADP Workforce Now and Time & Attendance automates this process making it much more efficient and saving time.
ADP Workforce Now is more automated than Sage HRMS and provides the opportunity to have less human error.
ADP Workforce Now Time & Attendance is great for tracking your employees time. It saves supervisors a lot of time when monitoring and approving both time and PTO. Schedules and multiple shifts can be set up very easily and the payroll processing is very user-friendly. It will automatically calculate prorated paychecks and there is a quick calculation/manual-check feature for checks that you are not able to send through your normal processing.
