Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

It is being used by the entire organization. It is the payroll/HRIS system. We utilize many custom reports for financial analysis.

Pros

  • Manages time and attendance well - Easy for staff to clock in/out.
  • Performance management system is strong once set up. Easy to update/make changes.

Cons

  • There should be more groupings available in the Performance Management system.
  • Coded fields should be easier to put together with custom reporting.
  • The system has created efficiencies in the self-service options that we utilize. The approval workflow allows us to review and approve and that automatically updates the system. That saves an hour or two per pay period (bi-weekly).
  • The Performance Management module is fairly new for us, but even while we are still learning, it is saving 7-8 hours of work per month in the distribution of reviews.
I have utilized ADP at larger organizations as well, and from a functionality perspective it works great. Pricing for mid-sized companies can be high for certain modules.
We continue to use ApplicantPro due to the fact that it is more cost-effective in the long-run. Workforce Now met our broader needs more than PayChex at the time we looked.
It is well suited for a standard payroll, and for an organization that is looking to maintain all of the HRIS information in one system. It is a good system for a company of our size.

Some features that we do not utilize are not cost-effective for a company of our size.
