Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

We currently use it to manage our employees for HRIS, PTO, payroll, benefits and performance reviews and reporting. It is used by all employees across the organization. I know there are so many other functionalities, and wish we would utilize them. The only con I find is sometimes, you get someone who is not knowledgeable on the phone and they will spend too much time trying to address your issue, or tell you it cannot be done, which is generally not the case. For the most part, I enjoy the interactions with the majority of the staff.

Pros

  • They have awesome CSR.
  • They have great follow-up to ensure your problem is resolved.
  • Custom reporting.
  • Finding solutions.

Cons

  • Sometimes staff cannot assist you, but fail to make that clear.
  • When you call you typically get the wrong department, so you get transferred a lot.
  • Sometimes staff is unwilling to listen to your issues.
  • I feel like there is never an issue they cannot solve.
  • I just feel like ADP is the best HR product out there.
  • Carrier connections
It is not as straightforward as I thought. I am not sure I even understand how the connections will work. I keep getting requests for data, but since we have a sister company, who already has carrier connections, I keep referring to the consultant that we need to be exactly the same set-up. I am not sure if I am getting through.
ADP, is far and above the benefits of Sage. I actually have not utilized many other HRIS systems, but I would always go with ADP if it were my choice. They have such a comprehensive package that most companies cannot compete with.
I wish our organization used ADP to support our recruiting efforts, to make it easier to set-up new hires. We also just started using it for background screening which is very user-friendly. In general, I think the system is user-friendly, and other times not so much. It should be able to automatically calculate retro-pay or transfer staff between copy groups. I don't like how a lot of times you have to create another position for changes, because that is when profiles get mixed up. I was asked one time to verify my identity on a call and was asked personal questions in front of a colleague which was very inappropriate. I refused to provide him with that information.
