Overall Satisfaction with Airtable
Airtable offers a nice balance of user-relatable tools and good performance with rigorous tasks that fall outside the capabilities of a normal spreadsheet workflow. Because of that, Airtable fills an important niche for me between day to day information tasks and highly structured data operations. Furthermore, because Airtable is approachable, I find it is a good way to get members of my team thinking more clearly about their data pools and business operations without getting too far down the rabbit hole with IT.
- Lightweight inventory management
- Lightweight business analytics
- Contact Management
- As many users have requested, crass base linking would be very useful though it is not critical and Airtable still maintains serious usefulness
- I would love to see a unified development roadmap. Airtable does a great job of communicating with its users but it can be a challenge to find the crux of their direction - this is important especially for business customers who may be charting future processes.
- I can't provide tangible ROI at this time
SAIC is a gSuite campus and Airtable is a very good companion to the gSuite. The Airtable gDrive integration is quite good and Airtable solves problems that gSuite simply does not solve.
Though it does not replace them, Airtable also plays well with our Project Management toolsets.
