Incredibly User Friendly Software will Make You a Database Diva
Overall Satisfaction with Airtable
Airtable is used in many ways for my whole organization and for working with clients. It's an amazing and user-friendly tool which we use in any number of ways including:
- To-do lists
- Marketing campaign management
- Media contacts lists
- Website asset management
- SEO evaluation checklists
- Website valuation checklists
Pros
- Marries an Excel-type spreadsheet with database functionality, making it the very easiest way to create a database that I've experienced.
- The user interface is wonderful and so intuitive. It's a joy to use.
- It's highly customizable and flexible, so you can do any number of things with it.
Cons
- Hard to say what's missing, but maybe some top-level admin -- so databases can be organized by large groups (like business vs. personal) rather than just workgroups?
- Maybe some tools built on top for things like asset management?
- Haven't been focusing on ROI but Airtable is helping me be more efficient.
- I'm hoping to create some databases that I can monetize. TBD what the ROI will be though.
There's a load of free functionality available with Airtable, so it's less expensive. It's also way more intuitive and user-friendly compared to Insightly. As for Asana, I don't need that level of team collaboration at the moment, but I like that I can share whatever I create in Airtable with my clients.

- Creating a database
- Creating forms to embed in a website
- Creating different views other than a straight list, like KanBan style.
- Filtering data to create specific views.
- It's so well designed, I can't really think of any.
Yes - It's okay, but to be honest, it's difficult to see a large database on a small device. It would probably be better suited to a tablet, but that's more a function of databases than of Airtable.
