7+ years experience with Rise & Storyline
Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360
We currently utilize Rise and Storyline to develop our training for colleagues. Storyline is currently primarily used for creating step by step videos from screen recordings, and Rise is primarily used for knowledge based training with a large focus on micro learnings right now. We export the scorm files to our own LMS and users access content on a variety of devices- personal or business laptops or mobile devices.
Pros
- Rise is very quick and easy to use and create learning fast
- There is a lot of support and training available
- There is a large image bank and scenario/people available to use
Cons
- More options under quiz questions would be great
- Make Storyline States easier to use
- When we implemented Rise, it decreases time to build training and increased accessibility to training.
I currently use both Rise and Storyline and am excited to dive into the AI assistant. I have been using both for approx 7 years and would absolutely recommend at least Rise to anyone- especially beginner designers as it is so easy to use and there are lots of available resources on how to use it.
I have not yet had the opportunity to use the AI assistant but look forward to trying it soon.
Rise is much easier to use than a lot of other systems. Storyline not as much.
