Overall Satisfaction

Asana was used as a project management tool for engineering, marketing, creative and customer support. It was essentially used across the whole organization as a tool to manage tasks and projects that required multiple contributors from several departments.

Pros

  • Easy task assignment.
  • Helpful progress tracking notes.
  • Good user interface.

Cons

  • Tagging of projects and ease of search by tags could use a little work. Having to have the exact tag in order to yield results is not as helpful.
  • It definitely increased project efficiency over our previous project management tool. Allowed more agility in making changes and updates and was much simpler to use.
Much more user friendly and easy to train on.
I am not using Asana now simply because my current company has its own internal tool, but should i move to a company where one is needed I would definitely recommend using it.
I think the amount of contributors you are likely to have on specific tasks should be relatively low. Too many cooks in the kitchen was a little confusing based on the notes and progress set up.
