Overall Satisfaction with Asana

I work as an external consultant with teams at public and private organizations. I use Asan for task management, time management, and oversight of projects. It addresses the problems of workflow and workload among the teams with whom I work. I use it as a tool, but it is not necessarily a working tool of the companies I consult.
  • Visualization of tasks.
  • Task management and follow up (filtering tasks, deadlines, and receiving notifications of pending tasks).
  • Premium services allow for critical routes.
  • Premium services are limited and there are projects that I work solo. Nonetheless, the payment is done for up to 5 users.
  • It's been positive for coordination.
  • It has negatively impacted personal projects that require payment for users that will not be used.
Asana's user interface is very interactive and easy to understand. Usability varies according to levels of complexity. For example, there are functions that are not required or explored if the project is simple. Thus, it is important to assess whether paying for the service is necessary.
I inquired with marketing about the possibility that certain projects I work on do not require other users, but some of the premium capabilities where necessary. They were fast to respond but completely rigid to addressing these needs.
It is suited for basic and complex projects. The main issue with Asana, as well as other tools, is that this requires training and commitment to using the tool. Thus, its functionality is limited to the use made by other team members.
