Overall Satisfaction with Asana

We use Asana for all our active client projects. We collaborate with our customers in a project per customer and use it to log our work, their next actions, get approval and feedback, while reporting on effort, tasks completed and outstanding milestones.

Since Asana offers great reporting it’s perfect to get insights on how our entire, remote, team is doing.

Cross platform both desktop, web and mobile make it possible to work from everywhere. The clean interface that supports shortcuts and fast input make it enjoyable to work in, as compared to older tools like Jira. The customizable layouts and data fields quickly adapt to your company’s needs.
Against Jira it offers a more modern experience with less complex user interfaces. The admin and setup experience is also way faster with less (or no) legacy complexity.

Against other modern players like Linear and Basecamp it offers way more integrations so we can pull in data and info from other parts of the company.

Perfect for bigger teams that work together (either with or without) external parties.

It’s less suited for small teams or individual usage since the overhead of the platform hinders fast input. But that same scale of options 8s perfect for bigger teams where it’s easy to loose track of what everyone is doing.
