Overall Satisfaction with Atlassian Confluence
We use it for internal documentation. The business problems the product addresses is sharing documentation between teams. It's so easy to publish documentation in Atlassian Confluence. It's a good thing that also comes with a big risk: duplicated information. That being said, we should have something to manage all published content.
Pros
- Write documentation in plain text.
- Protect internal documentation.
- Project organization.
Cons
- Information architecture.
- Publishing manangement.
- Reviewing content without the need of so many addons.
- Positive: We now have a true Knowledge Base that the company can use.
- Negative: We don't trust 100% on our knowledge base since it has duplicated and non-updated content.
- Positive: Great access management features.
Atlassian Confluence is a super handy hub for sharing ideas and keeping all your docs in one place. While Jira Service Management is more about handling tickets and support issues, Atlassian Confluence really makes teamwork easy. I feel Atlassian Confluence is user-friendly, integrates smoothly with other Atlassian tools, and helps everyone stay in sync. It's great for brainstorming, and project planning as well. Overall, it is a great way to boost collaboration and ensure all team members are on the same page.
