Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use BigCommerce to manage our online store at HeyViv.com. We use their templates to design and maintain our online store.

Pros and Cons

The product listings are easy to create.
The template is easy to use and customize.
Customer service for users is excellent. The support team is in the US, well trained, and always informative.

I don't have any problems with BigCommerce, I just wish the price was lower.

Return on Investment

SEO features have helped attract visitors, although I need more help on that.
Dependability means I don't have to worry about the site working.
Easy updates make it easy to add new products.

I don't use BigCommerce to manage my other online marketplaces like Amazon and eBay because I was already set up on them before I started using BigCommerce. It would be good to be able to use BC to manage and list on those marketplaces. For my stand-alone website, BigCommerce is excellent.

BigCommerce Customization

I am not using the open APIS and available integrations that I know of.

Alternatives Considered

Stitch Labs, GoDaddy and WordPress

BigCommerce was easier to set up with templates that could be customized. BigCommerce helped with onboarding. Customer support is excellent, in the US, and very well trained. The cost was comparable for the service I received.

Likelihood to Recommend

When I have a question, help is a quick phone call away, with very little to no wait time. I get my answer right away. The BigCommerce support team have talked me through setting my site up correctly, fixing problems, and training me on anything I don't understand.
