Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce
It is being used for our shop and the headless, WordPress plugin is used for product pages on our corporate website. It is used across the whole organization. It helped streamline the company by having all our products in one location, but attaching them to either our shop, our product pages, or both.
Pros
- Fast and reactive customer support
- Developer customization is top-notch
- Headless WordPress plugin to create a shop on WP or use it for product pages
- Rich CMS that is very user friendly.
- Amazing documentation on procedures...from adding products to webhooks and APIs.
Cons
- The new page builder still needs some work.
- Streamlined shop and product catalog
- Improved abandoned cart recovery (8.01% leading to $368,455.83)
- Attracts more visitors with the use of Google Ads
$1 to $10 million
We're using the storefront API to customize cart functionality. We will be implementing GraphQL API, Webhooks, and Rest API to build a front-end application in the near future. Having the open API allows us to create our own apps to work seamlessly with the BigCommerce platform.
- WooCommerce and Shopify
The ability to have a product catalog and shop pulling from the same place isn't available with Woo and Shopify. We can have everything in one place. The CMS is far superior to other e-comm platforms. Developers will be happy with the capability to create anything they need or want, with all the documentation to guide them. BigCommerce's customer support can't be beaten.
