Overall Satisfaction with Braze

We use Braze for our email and lifecycle programs. We have a detailed transactional flow/service flow and Braze allows us to integrate that flow with our marketing flows. We are in the process to expand to app and web channels leveraging Braze. Most significantly, Braze enables in platform segmentation.

Pros

  • Segmentation with filters vs. needing SQL
  • Journeys with multiple channels
  • Partnership integrations

Cons

  • Fully copying from 1 workspace to another
  • Adding custom business logic for attribution
  • Efficiency to build and scale programs
Pretty solid, a marketer-friendly tool but you do need developer support to get it set up.
Channel optimization through Braze has enabled both stronger acquisition conversion and repeat purchasers. Leveraging best channel and send time optimization have improved our engagement and conversion rates.

If it fits with your tech stack, grow plans, or the channel plans - it's a great tool. If you are not going to leverage multiple capabilities, I would really ensure it's the right tool.
