Overall Satisfaction with BrowserStack
We employ continuous integration and deployment pipelines in order to automate our test strategy as much as possible, allowing us to focus more on test management and maintenance than test execution. For this reason, we use Automate from Browserstack in our CI pipelines, which allows us to run our Selenium tests across devices.
Pros
- Showing detailed test session overview
- being able to test on a number of devices
- BrowserStack regularly reaches out and if very helpful
- Useful webinars on relevant topics
Cons
- Would appreciate more available api access that would allow for a more customizable session overview
- Have found it difficult to find in the documentation, regarding functions that can be executed in the browser using Browserstack (javascript)
- Plans for th enabaling more Parallel testing using Automate, seem a bit unreasolnable/hard to justify in terms of price. Although, what seems to be a very needed and sought feature
- being able to test on mobile devices

It allows us to run test on different devices, which if done manually would require investment to a number of physical devices, which would not have been as ideal
