Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Buffer mainly to schedule all our social media posts. It's used by the marketing department.

It helps us save time and extra effort of manually going to each and every social media platform and posting content. The fact that multiple users can use it, helps us streamline the maker and checker process so that nothing goes wrong.

Hootsuite

The reason for selecting Buffer was mainly due to good UI and easy to use functionality. Hootsuite was not that user friendly and a bit complicated. Buffer is more straight forward and easy to use when you compare it with Hootsuite. Also, I like Buffer's mobile friendliness more than Hootsuite.

Usability

As I mentioned previously, Buffer is user friendly. Especially, Buffer's app is smooth and I can schedule or track the results of the posts on the go. Though, in some mobile phones the website on google chrome doesn't work well. But it's decent enough to do the regular tasks and more.

Support Rating

I have contacted Buffer support thrice. Everytime I contact them, they are very responsive. Some of the team members actually help you till the query is not resolved even if it's out of their scope. Response time of Buffer support emails are within 24 hours usually but sometimes they reply within 48 hours in case of any technical issues.

[Buffer] is best suited for any firm that wants to stay active on social media.

A typical scenario would be - Mr. A who is a social media manager - maintains the content and creative bank every month. If he doesn't uses a tool like buffer, he will end up spending a lot of time scheduling the posts. Using buffer, he can schedule the posts for the entire month.
