Overall Satisfaction with Canto

We use Canto to house all our photography. We use it heavily in our Marketing department as well as share access and sharing ability with internal teams. We also have a portal available for our partners to access approved images, logos, and documents. Canto has made the sharing of images internally and externally much more efficient.

Pros

  • Easy to tag and search.
  • Easy to modify layout and organization.
  • Loads fast considering the massive amounts of assets we house.

Cons

  • Image previews can sometimes look deceptively lower quality than they are.
  • The resize tool is not intuitive enough for most users, so no one uses it.
  • Canto has been a great tool for keeping all of our usable assets in one place.
Though we use other programs for sharing and accessing files, Canto provides us with the best gallery and system for sharing images. It's the most robust tool we could find for the price, and they have incredibly responsive customer service.
As a power user, I find it very easy to use and navigate and I can accomplish what I need to very quickly. New users typically need a walk-through to get comfortable (which has never been an issue).
Support at Canto is super responsive, and I've even seen feedback I've provided incorporated into updates.
