Overall Satisfaction with CaptivateIQ

CaptivateIQ is being used by our sales organization globally to track commissions. The commissions were being tracked manually before we started using this app.
  • Super simple to use and easy to follow
  • Provides payout summary by month, deals by month, and YTD deal summary as well
  • Provides a high-level summary and additional information when you need to drill down into details
  • I would like to see the commission rates in the actual statement (high-level view)
  • A mobile app for this tool would be nice to have
  • Would be good to get an email notification once the latest payment summary was available, along with a link to access the information directly from the email
  • I'm not in finance, but I assume that reducing the burden of managing spreadsheets for a large sales team has positively impacted the finance person who had to manage without CaptivateIQ in the past.
I only evaluated CaptivateIQ as an account manager to provide preliminary feedback on this tool. I was not involved in the selection process itself. However, all commissions were being tracked in a spreadsheet in the past, which is onerous and susceptible to errors. I assume that this app has provided our finance folks with a scalable and easier to manage commission tracking solution.
It's a great, simple to use, intuitive tool.
I've never had to reach out for support in the past (but assume it would be properly supported).

CaptivateIQ is well suited to an organization that doesn't want their finance team spending tons of time formulating Excel spreadsheets to calculate commissions. Also, once a sales organization reaches a certain size, it's just not scalable managing spreadsheets.
