Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
ClickUp is used as our all in one project management software. We use it to create and track projects, store conversation threads regarding projects, time tracking, file storage and sharing, and team organization. Project managers like myself are the ones that are the day to day ClickUp power users and managers for all projects to make sure milestones and deliveries are met on time.
- User Interface
- Customization
- Workload Management
- Slow load times
- Features can be a bit buggy due to updates
- Server issues degrades application performance more often than should be normal
- Increased knowledge of project timelines
- Better resource management through utilizing the workload view for team members
- Difficult to onboard new team members at times due to high amount of customization possible so the learning curve can be a bit high at times.
Collaboration has definitely improved, but it is up to the people managing the tool (ClickUp, in this case) to be the catalysts for that. Our organization has spent a great deal of time in optimizing how we use the software, which can look different from each organization. However, once you can find out what works best for you and your team(s), the improvements will be noticeable.
This is an area where we could use some more exploration in. The biggest item ClickUp replaces is a time tracking software since it is so easy to track time directly to projects and individual tasks. Otherwise, ClickUp hasn't really replaced our main software solutions which we still use daily.

ClickUp is the most powerful tool out of the above listed project management software that I have utilized in the past. It is the most robust, meaning, I can see as much information or as little as I want based on the endless customization possibilities at my disposal. With other similar programs I have often felt limited by what I can set up, which is not the case with ClickUp.
