Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
We use Clickup for the project and team management across the organization, for everything from individual content or marketing pieces to more complicated marketing campaigns, social media post planning, SEO ideation, and tracking, etc. Other teams use it for team, customer, and project management in a variety of ways: bug reporting, design sprints, user permission changes, and client request management.
Pros
- Interoperability — click-up tasks, lists, and statuses all link together really well, making it easy to move tasks around or display them across teams.
- Flexibility — the ways that projects can be structured are almost endless, and the views + filters feature options are powerful for reporting and tracking.
- Tracking — there are a great many time and task-tracking features that can offer real insight into how the team is working together.
Cons
- Too many notifications — even with the ability to customize and remove the ones you don't want, the first thing everyone says when using it is "OMG so many notifications!" It's overwhelming for many people.
- Can be a little buggy or sometimes there is delayed loading or things don't save, although this seems to have improved over the last few months.
- It's been helpful for team collaboration.
- Has improved task and project visibility.
This would be hard to quantify in a meaningful way.
I wouldn't say it has helped to simplify them, but it has helped them become more cohesive.
