Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
ClickUp is our primary method of project management and task tracking within our company. All verticals manage their own ClickUp spaces and allow visibility across the organization into workload and scope. As we are a remote-first company, ClickUp enables us to maintain asynchronous work schedules and remain on the same page.
Pros
- Project Management
- Task Management
- Cross-functional Visibility
Cons
- Frequent slow-downs during peak hours
- Challenging to master more complicated features
- Limited integrations
- Increased training required to learn system
- Increased visibility across organization
- Increased ability to track man hours and allocate work accordingly
- Increased collaboration on project specs and tasks
The ability to collaborate on large projects and project-related tasks has increased exponentially. As a remote company, workers have limited visibility into individual workloads and task management. ClickUp allows high level to macro visibility into specific projects, goals, and even smaller tasks. A member of the training team can easily click into the roadmap and projects of a programs team and get a strong sense of progress and workload.
I have personally used ClickUp to integrate with Slack for numerous tasks allowing me to act quickly when urgent things are populated into forms. I used Zapier to integrate with Typeform for survey results as well as Gmail. These make my daily life much easier, especially when the work days are a whirlwind and urgent items can get missed.
