Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use ClickUp to track the wide variety of projects and tasks my team is currently working on, and the status of each. I can view tasks by project or by team member, or view everything at once.

Overviews of tasks by topic, sub-topic, person, or everything (macro level)
Tracking of project or task status
Sharing of tasks between projects and individuals

Copy-pasting behavior from windows program is poor (formatting never comes over right)
Some tasks in rare instances randomly disappear
They decided to limit which colors you can choose as a user for your theme

Helps track tasks and projects so they do not fall off the radar
Helps track and remind you of deadlines so they do not pass by

Teams have a dedicated spot to trade notes and comments about a specific task, rather than going to our company chat for every single thing. This works well because multiple team members can be on one task and a task can be shared amongst projects and spaces, which many other platforms don't allow.

ClickUp is easier and more efficient than some Excel project tracking tools we used in the past

ClickUp is very helpful and powerful when you need to track a variety of tasks relating to a project, or a variety of projects, and who is working on what. Their views are highly customizable so you will be able to get a good overview of just the information you wanted. I tried many project management apps and this was the clear frontrunner.

It's still slightly rough around the edges as it can be slightly buggy sometimes and copy-pasting into ClickUp from other programs doesn't always work well.
