Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are a digital marketing agency of ~15 people and we utilize ClickUp for basically everything! We use it for our internal projects, client projects, meetings, professional growth goals, etc. It helps our agency efficiently execute on our work and understand the dependencies of the work so we spend less time wondering when we'll be able to work on something since ClickUp clearly lets you know when work is unblocked.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Clearly showing the work you need to accomplish that day
The Gantt chart view lets you easily move tasks or task sets all at once
You have more visibility into the workload of your agency and team

Cons

I wish you could have deployed templates not put tasks on weekend dates
I wish you could have it require time estimates for every task
It can be pretty buggy in the Gantt view which makes working in that view very difficult at times

Return on Investment

We save at least 3-5 hours for each new project being able to deploy templates instead of building each workflow from scratch
We are able to collaborate directly within tasks which speeds up work being done and reduces the amount of back and forth we need to do
Faster goal completion since ClickUp allows many users to have visibility into workload

Collaboration

We have been able to utilize ClickUp to collaborate so much better including utilizing comments within tasks, managing projects overall from start to finish. There is a paper trail for everything and it's really helpful to be able to track progress within task and also leave a comment to let people know where you've left off.

All-in-One Productivity Platform

It probably is the number one thing that has helped. We have many task templates set up and continue to add more all the time. This helps reduce the time spent making task sets manually and has allowed us to automate that portion of our work.

-Accomplishing client work: ClickUp allows you to easily see projects at a glance, or in small chunks. Dependencies help things move along efficiently and reduces the number of questions asked.
-Seeing your tasks for the day: ClickUp allows you to create specific views to see what tasks you have on your plate for the day, and additionally which work is unblocked for you to work on that day. Utilizing the calculate sum feature lets you know how much work you have on your plate so you can adjust early on in the day instead of feeling like you are swimming in work and cannot accomplish it.
