Overall Satisfaction with Cloudflare
We use Cloudflare's services for domain name registration, DNS management, caching, DDOS protection, object storage, and live streaming. Cloudflare helps protect our business applications and platforms from attacks or even just general negligence of users. Their object storage and domain name registration are extremely affordable - and we are in the process of migrating to both.
Pros
- Domain Name Registration
- DNS Management
- Object Storage
Cons
- Domain name registration could allow for different nameservers
- Object storage could have a web ui for applying bucket and object policies
- Object storage doesn't seem to allow for private buckets to have individual public objects
- Lessened costs related to domain name registration
- Made some older sites (and newer) more performant with caching
- Reduced costs related to object storage with better performance
- DigitalOcean, Vultr, Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage, Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service), Name.com and GoDaddy
Cloudflare is less expensive with better performance. What more coudl you ask for?
DigitalOcean has been great but when comparing costs to features, Cloudflare is cheaper for object storage and better performing across their large network.

It took me a while to move our business services and domain names over to Cloudflare. Over the years of the company adding more features, I have shifted more to their platform. Onboarding was fairly straightforward and I didn't have any problem finding answers for my questions.
