Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense

We are using Concur Expense through the organization to streamline the expenses process. As a services company, we have lots of salespeople and consultants who need to go onsite and travel, so it is where everything is centralized for the accounting department to approve or not to approve.
  • categories - it is very detailed
  • synchronization - when I submit anything, the process is very efficient
  • mobile application
  • I think they could make less detailed category inside each expense report
  • personalization
  • website is confusing
  • streamline process
  • visibility
  • text notification could be great
I used Nexonia Expenses in my previous company and as much as it was a good product, I like Concur Expenses better because of the scale that it provides and the category is very detailed (which is good but can be confusing time). Overall, two good product but with SAP being behind Concur Expense, I think they are a step above.
I would give an 8 to the likelihood that I would recommend Concur Expense. I think the tool does a good job and everything you need to do your expenses. The process is pretty straightforward, and the synchronization to the higher level is almost instant, which is always helpful when you need to recover significant expenses.

SAP Concur Travel & Expense Benefits

I really like Concur travel and Expenses. For me the biggest feature is that whenever I use Lyft or Uber for instance, it is directly linked to my account so whenever I am done with a ride, it synchronizes automatically to Concur expenses and I just have to enter few details and submit it. It is very simple.
  • synchronization
  • integration
  • tripit
  • uber
As mentioned before, it is very to use and i love the way it is synchronizing with the different app I am using. Even though Uber or Lyft are not SAP product, it is very easy to have that expense showing up automatically in your report.
IT is helping to streamline the processes. I automatically have the expense there and can submit easily. You have the ability to duplicate some of your previous expenses so its a great feature and allow me to save time when doing my expenses. It is definitely a nice advantage to not have this task to be tedious but instead automation doing it for you.
It's been a theme in my review so I would say the integration with other applications and solutions is key. It is allowing me to save a lot of time with the synchronization between the different tools. I think the company behind being SAP allow a very scalability compare to other expense management software
Again the biggest success is gain of time allowed by the integration with different set of tools. That alone allows synchronization between tools and make me save time. The lessons are that even if it might be confusing at first, it is very easy to use the product. Once you do 2/3 times you will get familiar with.

Concur Travel and Expense Support

I am not part of the implementation or the support team for Concur Expenses but I have seen some message from service desk saying that it was down at some point and seems like they were able to solve the issue quite fast so based on that, it seems support does a good job.
