Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)

Atheon Computers is a small, locally based business that supports people across the nation and even internationally. Because of this, we use ConnectWise Control to perform maintenance and repairs on computers that we do not have physical access to. Nearly 20% of our last quarter's income was thanks to our remote support services. We use the software for assisting our clients, primarily in our tech support department, however, we have used the software in several web-projects to help manually show our clients what they need.
  • ConnectWise Control has an excellent support staff. When we had billing problems, they were quick and ready to help.
  • The software is extremely easy to use. It is a quick process to get our techs set up, and the majority of our clients are able to connect just as easily.
  • The customization of the service is fantastic, especially the ability to white-label. This is something you don't get with a lot of remote support options.
  • The price is extremely reasonable. Being a small company, we couldn't afford the exorbitant prices some other services charge, and ConnectWise was perfect.
  • While ConnectWise has been online 99% of the time we have used it, it is that 1% that can get you. There was a massive outage during one of our busiest times, which impacted business.
  • Some of the plugins for the admin panel seem out of date, or do the same thing. And some of them seem like they should be standard features that shouldn't need an extra step.
  • If the client has a Mac, the instant chat would sometimes block the client from typing. This may have already been fixed.
  • If the client has a Mac, the OS will occasionally temporarily block the program. It is simply enough to walk a client through enabling it again, however it is tedious. This may have also been fixed.
  • ConnectWise has significantly sped up our process. It is quick for customers to connect, and quick for technicians to use.
  • The price to invest in this software was very reasonable, and our technicians found it easier to use.
ConnectWise is both cheaper, easier to use, and has better flexibility than both Bomgar and TeamViewer. ConnectWise also has a free version for single users, which is something TeamViewer does not offer.

ConnectWise is often faster to use, easier to connect, and overall gets more positive feedback from clients than the other two pieces of software.
ConnectWise has been perfect for our small business, providing just the right amount of flexibility and affordability. It has been significantly easier to use than many other solutions we have tried. I can't speak to using ConnectWise in a corporate setting, however it seems that it would do just fine. The company has been very helpful with its support and we have no doubt that if we had an issue they would be willing to help us solve it.
