Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)
I use ConnectWise Control One for basic remote support of my clients. This solution makes it easy to not have to get in the car to fix simple issues on remote computers.
- It's really easy to set up a remote session my side
- Managed machines are very easy to access
- The client is very simple to install and run even on a Mac
- The ability for remote users to join a session is still too complicated. The application that gets downloaded makes it hard for limited users to open.
- The cloud-supported version sometimes just updates itself.
- ConnectWise Control allows me to do much more remote work and I no longer have to get in the car to fix simple issues.
- Most of my clients have a difficult time articulating what they're seeing on their screen. ConnectWise Control allows me to jump on their machine and see exactly what they're seeing allowing me to solve the problem much more quickly for a full billable unit.
The cost of all of these for a single user has gotten very expensive for something that isn't a core business feature. Join.me has major problems with Windows UAC. TeamViewer used to be a great product but license costs are so expensive.
