Overall Satisfaction with Dataloader.io

We used Dataloader.io to import, export, and delete data from our student portal to another system we use to manage accounts on campus. We also used Dataloader.io to import large amounts of contact information from other sources like standardized testing agencies and college fairs our recruitment attended throughout last year.

We looked at several products before trying Dataloader.io. Xplenty was great but it was more expensive. The same was true for Workato. We also looked at Snowplow. Workato was really impressive and had great support but required a hefty downpayment. Xplenty had a great UI but was also too expensive for what we needed.
Customer support might be where Dataloader.io saves money. Most of the competitors offer 24/7 live support but Dataloader.io only offers support via email and the community. Those types of support work fine until you need an answer right away. Some questions can't wait until the next business day or business hours for a reply.
We loved that Dataloader.io does not require the user to install anything. You can also use your existing Salesforce credentials to log in which simplifies that process. The interface is easy to understand and especially easy to adjust to if you have used any other Salesforce products in the past. There is a short learning curve.

Dataloader.io is great if you have a small team or a single person tasked with managing or mapping data from one system to another. If you want access to a large team and have more than 100,000 records per month, the price can quickly get out of hand. Dataloader.io works best for small teams.
