Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
Client folders where we save their AutoCAD drawings for their projects and send the larger files to other trades people that are working on their project. It's pretty easy to do all of this but storage runs out quickly in which you need to start paying to have the actual storage you need to save your files.
- Easy to access information
- Easy to login to the system from your computer or phone
- Easy to access company files from anywhere
- More free storage space
- More affordable memberships
- Have files update automatically without having to refresh all the time
- Easy to share large files to vendors
- Easy to have remote workers access files
- I was not aware that you had to sync your files or the updated work will not appear for the person who is trying to access them remotely. I thought that it was like AutoCAD, once you closed down the file you were working on the changes would be saved to the database but that does not seem like it is the case for Dropbox which is annoying when you have multiple employees who work remotely all over the country with different time zones.
My office uses both because Dropbox is more of a place where you save and share files, not a place for constant correspondence with clients
