Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
I set up a Dropbox account for a therapists office because they had no way of accessing their files remotely. Dropbox is HIPPA compliant and I let the 5 therapists know their information was safe to access remotely from their home computers if they needed to see a patient's information.
Pros
- Easy uploads and downloads
- Easy to organization
- Easy to access
- Easy to share files, pictures, and other uploads
Cons
- Not as many upgrade requests
- Color coding folders
- Ability to secure a folder
- Five licensed therapists were able to access patient files at home
- Accessibility to reports
- Accessibility to video and audio files
- OneDrive and Apple iCloud
I have used both of these services, but Dropbox was the first of its kind and still revenant and reliable. I share files with my family and co-workers from Dropbox that we use every day. I even have a friend in the United Kingdom that uses Dropbox to share photos from his adventures.

Yes - The mobile interface for Dropbox works very well. I have an Apple iPhone 14 and I can get to my files for any attachment I might need if I want to send something directly from my phone. I can also upload attachments directly from the app in the Apple Appstore! I recommend getting the app.
