Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
I use Dropbox to save and share marketing and graphic design assets. Anything from brand guidelines with logos and fonts to campaign rollouts and ads.
Pros
- Easy to upload and organize files.
- Files sharing can be secure and private or open links.
- The mobile app is seamless and mirrors the desktop experience
Cons
- It would be cool to see a homepage style dashboard at login that can highlight recent, starred, or folders by priority with large preview or image attached for accessibility instead of the "suggested" view
- Being able to color code folders
- Adding the ability to add external hyperlinks to files (.pdf)
- My clients love being able to have access to files needed and share them easily with others. It holds integrity and is very user friendly.
Affordability is the most important to me as a small business owner. I used Brandfolder for almost 2 years but it got too expensive. Dropbox gives me the basic tools and capabilities I need to share and save files without worry.
