Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

Installed on all desktops (active sync). Installed on all tablets (no syncing required, for online access only). Installed on all phones (selective sync). Allows maintenance of a single database for all users and devices. Provides for backup of files. Allows for the sending and transporting of files, documents, and media.

Pros

  • Auto uploading of pictures taken on phone.
  • Sensitive file transport.
  • Syncing of multiple file formats.
  • Online backups.

Cons

  • file & media format conversion.
  • Switching between multiple accounts.
  • Accessing multiple accounts on same device.
  • Reduced cost of server and storage maintenance by more than 50%.
  • Reduced staffing requirements of tech department.
It's simply best in class. I've tried them all.
Dropbox is faster, more reliable, and the easiest UI.

Good: The ability to share documents on the go. Viewing of documents on the go. Transfer of a large volume of files from one device to another. Bad: Viewing of stored video in the app. Editing of documents in the app. Converting file formats and opening password-locked documents.
