Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

Team sharing of all file types. Creates effective hierarchies to guide new talent through the existing file management processes.

Pros

  • UX with file uploads.
  • Device to device sync.
  • UX of layout (e.g. recent files, most used).

Cons

  • Search - web search from file header is better than the app search.
  • Shadow naming (I would like to see the entire file name when hovering).
  • ActiveSync - I'll occasionally attach a blank file to an email. It shouldn't allow this.
  • File Security.
  • File Management.
  • Team Collaboration.
Again, I would like the app search to be based on specific base file(s).
Dropbox has better security.
