Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox Business
Our team needed a document storage platform that was familiar, easy to use with a clean UI and robust security to meet our vendor requirements. The types of documents we needed to store were mainly PDFs, images and some Excel worksheets. Our team is remote and needed a solution that allowed for near-real-time synchronization and accessibility on numerous devices to cater to the needs of both Mac and PC users along with some mobile device access where required. We found Dropbox Business to check off all those boxes despite our email being GSuite and us having free access to Google Drive, the preferred solution was Dropbox Business after testing some use cases with our team.
Pros

Cons
- No built-in document editor like Google Drive/Google Docs.
- The user-friendly and common interface meant less training required which saved us time and money.
- The relatively low cost per user meant a decent saving over competing products.
Although Google Drive has a solid built-in document editor, we found Dropbox Business to be much easier to use and a better fit for the types of documents and files we wanted to store and share with both internal teams and customers. The versioning helped save us a few times when documents were accidentally overwritten or we needed to see previous values.
