Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Dropbox Business for data rooms we set up for potential and existing clients. We chose DB for the unlimited space and the ability to collaborate and control what is shared. The platform is well-known and user-friendly which is important to our clients.

I wish the price for a business account was less expensive.

Alternatives Considered

Intermedia Unite

We initially used Intermedia's cloud service, SecuriSync for data rooms but our clients had trouble registering for SecuriSync in order to get file share approval. Dropbox has made this process much easier for our clients.

Dropbox has been extremely helpful when we need to share large amounts of confidential data with clients. People are familiar with the brand and find it efficient and easy to use. Unfortunately, we cannot store files permanently due to SEC compliance issues.
