Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Connect
Our company uses GoTo Connect as our phone system. We are a 100% distributed team operating across four states. GoTo Connect provides a robust phone system with unified access on mobile devices, so as a small company, we can always be accessible to our clients. I have developed multiple workflows that give our 3-person team a larger feel when prospects call in.
Pros
- Inbound calls to the softphone and phone hardware
- Call IVR and call routing
- Voicemail
Cons
- Inbound calls via the mobile app typically ring after the call has been connected to another devise
- SMS compliance. We can get inbound texts, but are not able to reply.
- GoTo Connect was a fraction of the cost of our previous system and much easier to use.
- We do not use the meeting platform much, but it is a great system to have access to.
Our experience with GoToMeeting as a unified system has gone very well. We only use the meeting feature on rare occasions, because we have Google Meet and it is better integrated into our calendars. The Messaging was very useful, but we have not been able to get approved to use it after the new regulations and have not received much help from GoTo Connect to resolve that.
